Mahindra Lifespace Developers (MLDL) has made a significant move in the Bengaluru real estate market by acquiring 8.2 acres of land in North Bengaluru through its subsidiary, Anthurium Developers (ADL). This acquisition adds another valuable property to Mahindra Lifespaces’ growing portfolio in the city, further strengthening its position as a key player in Bengaluru’s residential sector.

A Prime Location for Growth

Located off the Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway, the newly acquired site offers easy access to key landmarks such as the international airport and major tech parks. North Bengaluru has quickly become a sought-after area for real estate development, driven by its connectivity, emerging infrastructure, and proximity to commercial hubs. With renowned educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and retail centers in the vicinity, the area is well-positioned to meet the demands of urban homebuyers looking for quality living spaces.

The site’s strategic location is also complemented by its proximity to the upcoming Doddajala metro station, just 1.8 km away. This enhances its appeal as a residential destination for professionals and families seeking convenience and accessibility in the city.

Plans for Mid-Premium Residential Development

Mahindra Lifespaces plans to develop the 8.2-acre plot into mid-premium residential apartments. The project will focus on meeting the growing demand for thoughtfully designed, sustainable homes in Bengaluru. With a projected saleable area of approximately 0.9 million square feet, the development is expected to generate a Gross Development Value (GDV) of nearly Rs 1,000 crore. Amit Kumar Sinha, MD & CEO of Mahindra Lifespace Developers, shared his thoughts on the acquisition: “Bengaluru is a strategic market for us, and this will be our seventh project in the city. Given the proximity to the international airport and major tech parks, we believe North Bengaluru will be an important micro-market with strong demand for well-planned, high-quality homes.”
