Brigade Group Debuts 773-Unit Brigade Belvedere in East Bangalore with ₹1,100 Crore Revenue Potential

Brigade Enterprises Ltd. has officially launched Brigade Belvedere, a new residential development spread across 10.75 acres on Budigere Main Road, off Old Madras Road in East Bangalore. The initial phase comprises two of five planned towers, introducing 773 residential units to the market with an estimated revenue potential exceeding ₹1,100 crore .

The development offers 1 BHK, 2 BHK, and 3 BHK configurations, with unit sizes ranging from 715 sq ft to over 2,013 sq ft, catering to a diverse spectrum of homebuyers from young professionals to growing families .


Net Zero by 2045: Sustainability at the Core

Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises Limited, emphasized that the Budigere and Old Madras Road micro-markets are experiencing robust growth driven by improved infrastructure and connectivity. She noted that Brigade Belvedere is committed to being a net zero carbon development, aligning with the organization’s broader corporate goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2045 .

This commitment is not merely aspirational. According to Brigade’s latest sustainability disclosures, the Group has already made significant progress on its ESG goals:

  • Renewable Energy: 17.2% of total electricity consumption comes from renewable sources, with the hospitality vertical reaching 28.6% 
  • Water Stewardship: 52% of water use is met through recycling, alongside a 21% increase in groundwater recharge via rainwater harvesting measures 
  • Green Building Certifications: The company’s green-certified portfolio stands at 16.35 million sq ft, with 2.15 million sq ft certified in the latest reporting period alone 
  • Waste Management: 85.9% of project waste is diverted from landfills through effective reuse and recycling strategies 
  • Biodiversity: Over 1,04,570 native species trees have been planted across Brigade’s projects 

The Group is also a member of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and has committed to aligning with the 1.5°C pathway . Brigade Belvedere represents the next step in this journey, following the earlier launch of Brigade Citrine, which was positioned as “India’s first truly” net-zero carbon residential community .

“Our commitment to net-zero focuses on mitigating, reusing and offsetting to reduce the environmental impact over the next 25 years,” Shankar had stated during the Citrine launch, a philosophy that extends to the newly launched Belvedere project .
